The whisky has been matured in both sherry and bourbon seasoned casks then matured further in casks which previously held peated whisky. The classic Glenrothes we know and love, with delicate smoke.

This year?s bottle restores the mystique and mystery to a deeply Scottish celebration by combining the ancient with the new. State of the art Near Field Communication (NFC) technology is embedded on each bottle to reward its owner with an exclusive hidden tasting with the Spirit of The Glenrothes.

Appearance: Light gold, clear and bright.

Aroma: Wood smoke and creamy vanilla.

Taste: Vanilla, orange peel and light peel.
